Looking Back by Jeannie Hope Gibson

Looking Back

June 5, 2017 By Jen Liszka

As I walk forward into a new life, I can’t help but turn and look back at my past. I am leaving so many wonderful experiences and memories behind me.

But what lies behind me was “then” and I have been reluctantly pushed into the “now.” I don’t know what lies ahead, or what will become my next “now.”

“With resolution, and some fear, I turn and face the direction I am supposed to go. Forward. For now.
The best way to prepare for life is to begin to live.” Elbert Hubbard
